The Salusbury Arms is a village pub that has served the village and parish for decades. It has provided many generations of the Tremeirchion community with their first pay packet, their first pint, even their first quiz night and we believe it should be our responsibility to ensure it survives for many more.  ​The Tremeirchion Community Pub Limited successfully raised a total of £195,800 through share investments in July 2023, along with successfully being awarded £175,000 as a capital grant from the UK Governments Community Ownership Fund. This enabled for the purchase the Salusbury Arms and to re-open as a Community Owned Pub..

 

This is an incredible achievement that demonstrates the strong support and commitment of the local community towards preserving a beloved pub.

As part of the pubs daily running, we couldn't do it without the support of our Volunteers. Volunteers play a crucial role in community owned pubs, serving as the lifeblood of these cherished establishments. Their dedication and passion infuse each corner with warmth and authenticity, welcoming newcomers with open arms. From pulling pints, to organising events and even being our go-to decorators and gardeners.
